I recently spent a weekend in the heart of Amsterdam. I stayed in one of the most fashionable and beautiful Amsterdam hotels – Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam. This hotel is one of the Europe's Leading Luxury Hotel in the Netherlands and definitely stands out among the 5-star luxury hotels of Amsterdam and offers a unique ambience, furnished with French elegance and grandeur.

JUNIOR SUITE
Upon arrival, the concierge offered us a refreshing homemade ice tea. This was definitely an indication of the positive things to come! The ambience of the hotel was wonderful and the staff was amazingly friendly and very helpful. The attention to detail is truly exceptional.
Our Junior Suite with a big living room, master bedroom and a marvelous bathroom has succeeded beyond expectations. The rooms are light and lovely with heavenly comfortable bed and furniture and a wonderful view of the city canals. It does sound a lot like a great excuse to stay a little longer in our lovely suite and indulge in an extensive breakfast. The luxury bathroom with double sinks, the shower cabine and Hermes toiletries was the cherry on top of a perfectly delicious cake.
When perfection itself simply isn't enough...
BUTLER SERVICE
Furthermore, we had a butler service, which is unique in the Netherlands. Our butler, Mauricio de Aguiar Silva, was so nice and assured us he was available around the clock for whatever we needed.
The service was impeccable. Nothing was ever too much for him and he was so accommodating and polite. The entire experience was delightful. If someone told me I could experience luxury like this, I wouldn’t have believed them. I felt like a princess!
SPA and WELLNESS
The SPA is one of the essential facilities of a The Grand Amsterdam Hotel. What could be more delightful than to relax and escape the hectic pace of day-to-day life? Set over two floors, the SPA area offers a range of services including treatment rooms, spa suites, an heated in-door swimming pool with Turkish steam bath, sauna and showers, a relaxation room, hallway and reception area.
So if you’re planning a weekend getaway or a vacation, Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam is the place where you too can feel very special. There are various options to choose from, even if you just want a smaller room than the one I showed you. There is certainly something for everyone, no matter the occasion.
