As we’re entering the cooler season, it’s time to stop for a bit and think carefully about your autumn wardrobe. Let’s talk about main Autumn Fashion Styles 2017 you can shop now. Should you only choose those pieces that are going to be trendy or maybe it would be better to go classics and start building up your capsule wardrobe? Well, we all know that classics are revered and remaining with us until the end, right? Fashion fades, style not.
Look effortless
If you already found your style, then better stick to it. If not, well it’s a perfect time to start from the very beginning, because all the solid colours are back. All the favourite blues ― royal blue, navy blue, ice blue; dark forest green, faded black, coal black, off-white ― they are all going to be with us at least until the end of 2017. That’s why I thought, it’s a perfect time to build your capsule wardrobe carefully choosing only those richer, solid colours and cuts that will last more than half a year.
Actually building your capsule wardrobe is a great process to go through, but we’ll talk about it in my next article. As for now, I thought I would shade with you some tips and ideas for the upcoming season.
Mix High and Low
Yes, it’s absolutely okay to pick up designer items and mix them with all the high-street brands. Sometimes it’s absolutely necessary to add that extra touch to your look. Why not? That’s how great style is revealed.
I love being elegant. It’s not about being fashionable or wearing the latest trends. I think, being elegant is a state of mind. Whether you’re wearing leather leggings with a white tee or a ridiculously expensive dress from YSL, it doesn’t really matter. If you don’t have that feeling of elegance inside you, then it’s done.
“Being well dressed is a beautiful form of politeness,” ― Coco Chanel.
For my autumn wardrobe I’ve picked a lot of basic pieces because, with all of them, I feel so at peace. From an off-white coat from ZARA, a ruffle top from to a tea dress from SheIn and a woolen sweater from Missguided, I literally cherish every single one of them. Whether I go oversized, or wearing all white ― it’s always a time for experiments, when you know your style. So dare to dress big!
