Recently I’ve received many compliments on my hair, so I decided to share with you my little secrets – how to treat and take care of your hair properly. Truly say, hair wouldn’t move, shine, curl or straighten the way it does without my special treatment. So if you’re interested, let’s start!

As you may know, I lightened the ends of my hair and got an Ombre a couple of months ago. Before that I haven’t dyed my hair in over two years or so. And now, it’s time to say, how I regret, that I’ve dyed them this time. I had a perfect healthy hair and after lightening they became lifeless, colorless and what’s more worse – I’ve got split ends! So I decided to restore the natural shine of my hair and to repair all the damage, I’ve done.

You’ll probably ask me, why I’m talking here about diet and stuff. But, you know what, it’s a very important part. Nourish your body properly so your hair will grow in strong and healthy. I really mean it, because a major part in the appearance of our hair actually plays our diet. If you’re a big fan of junk/sweet/fat food, you’ll always have problems not only with your hair, but with your skin, with your nails, with your body and with your mind. So be selective of what you’re eating and don’t forget to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. This prevents your hair from drying out.

In addition to proper diet and multivitamins, it’s important to care for your hair gently, avoiding damaging treatments, and using various deep conditioning techniques.

To be honest I dried my hair only several times in my life. I don’t even have a hair dryer at home. That’s why I normally wash my head before going to bed, so my hair could dry till the next morning. I know, it can be quite annoying, but this is the price of healthy hair. Believe me hot air toward dry hair won’t give it the chance to get healthy. The heat is rather damaging – it will cause breakage and split ends. So if you want to have a healthy hair, please, avoid any kinds of drying or ironing.

Do not skimp on your hair and on your body! I’m not going to lie to you – I do spend a lot of money on good hair products and oil treatments. Good shampoo and conditioner is a perfect foundation to a healthy hair. Because restoring life to damaged hair may require more than routine conditioning. I use a shampoo and conditioner made with nourishing natural Argan oil and free of silicons from RICH Pure Luxury normally two up to three times per week. I like this particular line, because it contains not only Argan oil to soften hair, but also Hydrolyzed Wheat, Corn and Soy Proteins to moisturize and strengthen your hair. And it helps to repair damage caused by chemical treatments, which is very important.

Also be sure to do regular deep conditioning treatments, it helps your hair to restore completely. My absolutely favourite is Rejuvenating Argan Oil Elixir from RICH Pure Luxury. These so to say “oil bathes” you should do at least once a week, one hour before the shower. Just apply any oil (Jojoba, Coconut, Argan, etc.) to your hair and warm it up with a towel. This procedure actually helps to remove and prevent split ends.

I also apply a couple of drops of this Argan Oil Elixir once a day to the ends of my hair. It helps me to protect my hair from drying out during the day and helping it stay shiny and manageable.

And my last, but not least, hair care secret is Argan De-frizz and Shine Mist. It helps me to keep my hair from getting frizzy and puffy throughout the day, because it contains a blend of oils, like Argan oil, Sweet Almond, Olive and Linseed Oil. It adds an amazing level of shine and softness to your hair. So basically you will have perfectly looking, healthy and absolutely luxury hair!

  • Well your hair is so amazing !! Mine is always way too dry at the ends 🙂

    Love, D X

  • Your hair is lovely!

  • Great selection of products! xo

  • You DEFINITELY have gorgeous hair!! Good tips!
I’ve tried not blowdrying my hair, but it tends to get REALLY wavy (and I generally like to straighten my hair). Do you have any tips to prevent this without going straight to the blowdryer?

    • try to comb them during the drying. Always use a wide-tooth comb for that, it helps to make your hair straight naturally.

  • These are some great tips! I never really thought that our diet could affect our hair, but clearly it does and is something else to think about. I always struggle to resist from using heat on my hair, I love curling it and blow drying it since it takes forever to try naturally haha x

    • Yeah, probably diet should stay on the first place. I do love to curl my hair too, but I do it seldom, because I know how hard it will be do get them back to life.
